Dance like a butterfly…
Dance like a butterfly, sting like a bee. The need for speed has always been there. And the time has come for a one-of-a-kind restoration of a classic cool car that just exudes speed: the iconic Alfa Romeo GT Veloce with top-of-the-line 2,000cc, twin-carbureted engine, rumbling through a custom fabricated stainless steel exhaust. This meticulously restored classic sports car underwent an obsessive frame-off rebuild process where over 4,000 man-hours of work was invested in rebuilding everything.
The engine underwent a comprehensive rebuild with new pistons, rings, bearings, polished cams and crank, machined surfaces, valve train, etc. The gearbox is rebuilt from front to back together with every other mechanical bit. The car rises on slightly lowered springs and GTA style 7 x 14" alloy wheels, with 10mm spacers and Continental 185/70R14 tires.
Sting like a bee.
Finished in a classic Giallo Planetario racing yellow with all re-chromed bumpers and trim, the Alfa buzzes with energy like no other. The headlights were upgraded to special LED lamps, while the fog lights preserve the oh-so 1970s yellow lens fog lights.
On the inside, the classic design pattern was preserved, but with a touch of modern flair. The interior is upgraded to feature a custom leather design incorporating original elements with yellow piping to echo the exterior. The dash and console are wrapped in leather, and the trim is in hand-crafted Macassar wood. The charcoal gray German square weave carpet throughout adds a touch of luxury. And when you want to tune into some tunes, this GTV 2000 counts on a retro-styled, Bluetooth-enabled head unit connected to an amplifier and four high-power JBL Stage 3 speakers.
Because this is a cool car, we also installed a custom air conditioning system integrated into the dash to keep any hot heads at bay. The disc brakes are all rebuilt, as are all the brake and fuel lines. The gauges have been rebuilt and restored to their original glory.
This Alfa Romeo GT Veloce is a one-of-a-kind masterpiece, and is sure to turn heads wherever it goes.
